WHILE OBTAINING MY BFA IN TEXTILE DESIGN FROM EAST CAROLINA UNIVERSITY, I WAS FOLLOWING MY FAVORITE BANDS AROUND, FALLING FOR THE TOURING LIFESTYLE, AND STUDYING COUNTRY MUSIC IN MY ELECTIVE COURSES. IT WAS THE COMBINED EFFORTS OF MY LIFESTYLE AND LOVE FOR FASHION AND TEXTILES THAT I FOUND INSTANTANEOUS LOVE FOR WESTERN WEAR. FROM TRUE COWBOY FUNCTION TO STORYTELLING HOLLYWOOD COWBOY VISUALS, IT FELT LIKE HOME.

IMMEDIATELY AFTER GRADUATION, I MOVED TO NASHVILLE, TN WHERE I WORKED AS ASSISTANT DESIGNER TO MANUEL. IN ADDITION TO DESIGNING GARMENTS, I ENHANCED MY SEWING AND LEARNED TAILORING SKILLS FROM TYLER GEORGE. I LAVISHLY ADMIRED THE SKILL OF EMBROIDERY ARTIST, PANCHO MARTINEZ, SO I TAUGHT MYSELF UPON BUYING MY OWN MACHINE.

AFTER LEAVING MANUEL IN 2018, I SET OUT ON A VENTURE TO PERSUE MY OWN BRAND. I CURRENTLY RESIDE AND CREATE IN NORTHERN KENTUCKY JUST OUTSIDE OF CINCINNATI, OH WITH FREQUENT WORKING VISITS TO NASHVILLE, TN.
